Life's little secrets

BLOG BUILDER QUESTION

4. What are the secrets to a longer, healthier life?

there are many things that allow a longer healthier life
here are ten little rules to align your life:

1. dont smoke, no, you heard me, throw away that pack, call it your last!!!
2. eat your greens, broccoli, green beans, spinach (yummy in a summer salad tossed with fruit and a vinegarette), brussel sprouts, asparagus, whatever your fave greenage, eat it... its good for you (now i sound like my mother)
3. visit your doctor for your yearly physical, dont make excuses, just do it
4. get 1 hour of exercise somewhere in your day (...i dont fulfill this one, oooops)
5. drink PLENTY of water, lots and lots, like 8 to 10 glasses (i find it hard to fulfill this one)
6. take time to pamper yourself with some little thing once a day, if it is a frothy cappiccino or a hot bubble bath, whatever it is, take THAT time for YOU
7. stop and smell the roses. take a deep breath. take this time to reflect on your day
8. cuddle, if you have a loved one near, grab them for a snuggle, if you are single, your puppy would love a cuddle right now.
9. Laugh, smile, grin and giggle. laughter is the worlds best medicine
10. HAVE FUN...dance like no one is watching, sing like no one hears, skip whenever you can, live a little, act like a child, and let that inner child free. even just for a moment, then return to rule #9

AlaKaZam, 3 wishes granted

BLOG BUILDER QUESTION

3. What three wishes would you ask of a genie in a bottle?

well there are 2 sides to this question:
the fantasy and the reality
fantasy wishes are for riches, beauty, and power
reality wishes are more personal.
I would have to be careful when selecting my three as there are only three and you are not allowed to ask the genie for more wishes.
FIRST:
I wish for health, for my family to be healthy. mentally and physically... all my family: my sisters pain, find a happy place, find a happy place; my Dad, his health problems scare me sometimes, his heart, his diabetes, his pain... my mother in law, calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean; the rest of us, we all are fine i guess overall, but i would wish for LONG TERM health.
SECOND:
That dream job for Brian. I wish for my husband to have a job that keeps him home with his us. a job that makes him happy, a job here near home, if he had that job i would not have to make a wish to be able to stay in my home and live here because that would be covered, in the wish. and i am not greedy i would not wish for a million dollars, but with this job, our finances would improve i would not have to wish for money and we could live comfortably and not from check to check.
THIRD AND LAST:
I would wish for PEACE. first peace in our family mostly, i know i could never expect peace all over the world (although that would be fabulous to have no wars), but for our family not to be fighting would be great. i dont think this is totally possible unless we could erase events of the past that hurt us or damaged us... i really think we would have to change a persons core to change those events, you cant go back to when you are eight and alter the rest of your life...(butterfly effect)... so instead i just wish for the "now" sort of peace. i would like for my sister to make peace with mom, for brians sister to "come around" and for no temper blow ups and no yelling. for us all to be a happy family again.

i think those kind of wishes would make a great life for us, i know things are never perfect, and we can always find things we would like to change, but a person has to start somewhere

the biggest collection of...

BLOG BUILDER QUESTION

2. If you could own the world's largest collection of anything, what would it be?

gosh what a question....
hmmmm
well i love scrapbooking but the largest collection of scrap stuff would be a big clutter and i would be very very overwhelmed and probably unable to create a page for lack of ability to choose what to use....
i used to collect unicorns and well they collect a lot of dust...
i once collected other things but like many collections, they take up a lot of space and collect dust.
i really love to buy the babies designer clothes, but with the cost, we save those purchases for christmas and birthdays. so if i could afford it, my kids could be dressed in all old navy, gap, tommy, oshkosh. etc... but the worlds largest.... well... they would only outgrow it before using it.....
SOOOOOOOO...
one thing i could really enjoy,
and i know i will sound crazy,
super crazy....
but i used to love
and still love
and cant resist them when i see them
look for them on sale
have soooo many fond memories of
AND
would love to have
the worlds LARGEST collection of
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
LEGO.
real LEGO, not the knock offs that dont stick together
call me a kid
call me immature
but i could sit for hours
creating
building
it is my artistic side i guess
soooo, buy me a piece of land. build me a house with a HUGE area to create. with area to show off my creations. and that is where you would find me.
lost in the land of LEGO. creating my dream lego city. with working railways, streets, buildings, waterparks, THE WORKS...
i will be the "LEGO LADY"

FREEZE FRAME

BLOG BUILDER QUESTION

1. What age would you like to be for the rest of your life?

If i could choose an age to stay for the rest of my life, i guess i would say 33... RIGHT NOW. i felt turning thirty was a great milestone for me. finally grown up, so to say, settled into a comfortable life. but at 30 i had no children. I wasnt blessed with a family until a little before my 32nd birthday.
SO I CHOOSE TODAY
today i am 33, my twins are 14 1/2 months (or at the one year mark, corrected age). I get to play with kids toys. get to have unlimited cuddles. get all the love i can handle. have a wonderful marriage. have a happy family. what could be better.
I GUESS
if u ask me this question in one year i would probably have the same answer, right now. cause in a year, there will be the creative silliness of two year olds in my home, with the giggles and "mommy, love you much" being heard throughout the day. a day filled with cuddles and games and fun i am sure.
all i can say is
LIVE IN THE MOMENT.
i guess that is what i would have to say about making the best of this time in my life.

in the blink of an eye

ok, i know i havent blogged for a few days, busy busy me....
so lately...
we went to our dr apointment in the city, and the twins are AHEAD in most of their development tests. both saying more words than their level, standing and walking and climbing. putting the peg in the hole. all those silly tests. they get it!
well we had an okay visit while we were there. but we were soooooooooo glad to get back. cause being away from home upsets our already half crazy schedule.
so we are back home for one day......... and ayden decides to start walking, really walking. everywhere. he also has two back teeth coming in. it seems that in just one week has changed soooo much. emily now has a slight ear infection and runny nose and is taking meds for that, and is a little on the cranky side. but all in all, the last week wasnt tooooo bad... except for my lack of sleep... YAAAAWN
