The Rest of the story
BLOG BUILDER QUESTIONS
#5. What is something you feel too young to do?
I guess i would have to say something like to find GREY HAIR. my hubby has had it FOREVER, and i guess it wouldnt be that big of a deal, but i dont think i want grey hair yet.
BUT... I never feel too young to sing, to skip, to play in the sand. i guess i would look rather silly if i was sitting in the sand alone, but give me a kid to watch, and i seem to have as much fun as they are having. being a mom of young twins lets me be a child again. i get to visit the toy department when we shop and push all the buttons, i can buy "kid snacks" and "kid meals", i can play with the coolest toys, and watch those cartoons without shame. my husband says you are only as old as you feel, sometimes my body feels ancient, i say you are only as old as you want to be, so come on, lets build sand castles.
#6. What are three things you need in order to be happy?
My family. i have the best husband. he is a wonderful father, a hard worker, a friendly, funny and loving man. i have my boy and my girl. the twins filled that empty space i had, they really complete our family. I FEEL LIKE THE LUCKIEST WOMAN.
Health. I thank GOD that our kids are doing so well, after being born at 29 weeks, there are so many things that could have gone wrong. My husband is a carrier of a Chromosome inversion and i thank GOD our babies are normal healthy children. As well as a family we try to eat healthier, and stay active (sometimes i struggle with that part) and make sensible decisions about our health. We dont smoke or do drugs, and only drink occasionally for the special social gatherings and christmas.
Stability/Security. i dont want to say money, i dont need money to be happy, i just need to have the bills taken care of and to have a pantry full off food. the need to know that when i need a bottle of milk, it is there, and that i never need to worry that someone is hungry and i cant find anything to feed them. that feels like security. we have moved so many times in our lives, but now that we have children, i depend on pattern and routine. i need to know i have a roof over our family' s head.
#7. If you had an extra day each month that no one else had, what would you do with it?
ummm scrapbooking would probably be the top of my list. i could also say clean, my house seems a bit untidy most of the time, but that just doesnt seem like fun use of a free day.
#8. What is something you'd like to do that you're not allowed?
i dunno, who says i cant do anything i want...
i cant think of anything i really want to do that someone wont let me do...
EXCEPT maybe i could go shopping, like at the scrapbooking store, and just fill my cart and walk out... now THAT sounds like fun!!!
#9. What superhero powers would you like to have?
to be able to blink and have my house cleaned. I'll call it the PRESTO POWER. "Presto, the dishes are done" and "presto, the bathroom is scrubbed clean" that would be sooooo awesome, better than being invisible or strong.
#10. What is something you wish you never had to worry about again?
money of course. just knowing my bills and mortgage are going to be paid and no more worries about bills would be the greatest thing.

OOPS, where has time gone
well once upon a time i was hoping for a week in review each week, seems more and more like a month in review to me... well what can i say.
the answer to it all could be laziness i guess.
i could say i am busy with renovations
i could say i am a busy mom of twins
i could say i am addicted to scrapbooing and dont make time for other things...
ya, i am leaning more toward the last one.
i pulled out a dozen or more pages in the last few weeks, but cant close down that digital program long enuf to post a little hello...
our renovation has slowed down, because brian is working. YAY YAY YAY. BIG TIME YAY.
first he worked 3 weeks as a carpenters helper, then one day, he gets a call and he is out of town, i tell the woman, Brenda, that he wont be back til late Friday noght. she gives me her HOME NUMBER and wants brian to call to set up an interview. so Brian does and sets up an interview for SATURDAY MORNING, yup Saturday of all days... By that same afternoon, he finds out he has the job. and starts Monday. that is THREE WEEKS now. SOOOOOO HAPPY. GREAT JOB, GREAT MONEY, GREAT GREAT GREAT...
ok i am saving the next news for a separate post.
