One More Day

just days before my 7th wedding anniversary

ONE MORE DAY


When I open my eyes
the first thing I see
is your smiling face
looking back at me.

What did I do
to deserve such a fate
to receive such a gift
as such a wonderful mate.

Your eyes shine brightly
as they fill up with love
Your feelings for me
I am aware of.

My heart bursts with pride
when I talk about you
the way you make me feel
and all the things you do

I thank God each day
for bringing you to me
you came into my life
and set my heart free

You broke through the walls
I built around my heart
forever and ever
we are never more to part






this note went with the poem

In a few days i will celebrate 7 years of marriage.
When i got married i was so nieve.
But it was the best thing i ever did.
I have the best man, and he loves me very much.
I love him more now than i did on the day i married him.
and things have been great.
THANKS TO GOD
cause i stop and think,what if i didnt, love him more that is, what if i loved him less, or what if i was wrong and it wasnt love?
wow, what a shame it would have been to miss out on this BLISS...people who know me, know, that some people are rich, and others are rich in life.
