Today I count my blessings

Today i count my blessings one two and three

When my baby girl fell and drove a tooth thru her gums, i was first thinking why so stumbly clumbsy. I am blessed my babies are learning how to walk

When the lady behind me had her toddler fall from her shopping cart and both baby and mom began to cry, I first thought oh thank gosh it wasnt my child. I am blessed with a calming nature, i comforted the woman, reassured her as she was crying and expressing her guilting feelings of having not caught her from falling. I calmed her down. as mom stopped crying, the baby began to calm as well, i wished them good luck as they headed for the hospital to have her child checked by a dr.

When my niece was hanging off my arm and my body while shopping, i first thought why is she so clingy. I am blessed, Erica said I love you Auntie Dee, and hugged tight into me, nearly knocking me over.

When my nephew, in the back seat plays with a toy going click click click and i take it from him til we get home, i was first thinking, why did we let him buy that. I am blessed to have a nephew, who at 10 yrs old, still WANTS to spend time with me.

when i look around the livingroom and see a million toys, i first think what a mess. i am DOUBLE blessed to have happy healthy twins crawling and playing on my floor.

truly i am blessed

we must try to find blessings, even in those little things in life.
